You may also take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and special diets (including pureed diets) Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition Follow portion control standards and food safety procedures Monitor and record food temperatures Assist with meal service and plating to ensure appealing presentation Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor Maintain sanitizer solutions and follow cleaning schedules Clean cooking equipment, serving carts, and kitchen areas Collaborate with staff across departments to support resident care Report any resident concerns to leadership Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary restrictions Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Why Join Cherrydale Post Acute?
