You may also assist in supervising kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines Ensure compliance with special and therapeutic diets, including texture-modified meals Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment Follow food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards Monitor and record food temperatures Assist with meal service and ensure appealing food presentation Maintain proper sanitizer levels and follow cleaning schedules Clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and serving carts Collaborate with dietary team and other departments Report resident concerns or issues to leadership as needed Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary needs Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Why Join Greenville Post Acute?
