To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Crew Planning Supervisor in our Flight Department. The primary responsibilities of the position are directing the teams to comply with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and meeting on-time performance and efficiency goals, while adhering to the Piedmont Airlines Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The Crew Planning Supervisor will lead the on-boarding of new software and a new aircraft. The successful candidate will have three years of aviation experience, knowledge of aviation FARs, and previous experience with airline software systems. This position will report to the Manager, Crew Planning. Essential Duties: SuperviseAirline Crew Planners, including assigning daily, weekly, andmonthly tasks Performauditson crew assignments Maintain Preferential Bidding System (PBS) for crewand pair data with PBSprocessing(Skywise PBS) Serve as a member of PWG (PBSWorking Group) Work collaboratively with external softwarevendorsto ensurePiedmont'screwplanning needs and requirements are met Monitor the crewexceptions thatarenot legal,as per theFARs and CBA Fosteran environment ofteamwork amongall departments Assist with loadingnew crew members data intoall crew systems Scheduleindividual coaching sessions anddevelop arecurrent training program Perform CrewScheduling, CrewPlanning, and/or Crew Training scheduling tasks whennecessary Travel as neededtocrew resources projects Job Qualifications and Competencies: Strong verbal andwritten communicationskills Ability to work independently andprioritizework basedon changingrequirements Three (3) yearsof aviation experience Previous experience with airlinesoftwaresystems Knowledge of aviationFARs Proficiencywith Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Word Strongorganizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous experiencein CrewScheduling, CrewPlanning, or FlightTraining Previous experience with airlinesoftware (PBSsystems,CrewTrac/FLICA/S3RUS) Previous leadershipexperience Bachelor's degreein business administration, with aviation focus Understandingandfamiliarity with FAR 121.500 subparts Knowledgeand familiaritywithapplying pilot and flight attendant CBAs Work Environment: Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment Some travel may be required Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position.
