The Opportunity This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. Were revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. As the Brand Manager, HCP Marketing, you will be responsible for using agility, creativity, and strong project management skills. What Youll Work On Be a US product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, critical market success factors, and customer needs. Able to understand and formulate insights from primary and secondary market research and applies learning to marketing execution. Serve as the US HCP marketing lead on key product launches and marketing programs and execute plans delivering on product/program positioning, messaging, sales resourcing, and education. Briefs and manages agencies and vendors to deliver executions as needed. Act as a product and clinical expert. Contribute to messaging development and competitive planning Utilize customer insights and other data sources to inform content development Comply with regulations and requirements, company policy, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments including navigating the process of Legal Regulatory, and OEC. Key Success Factors: Strong influence management skills - effectively influences colleagues to both understand and execute strategic positioning and tools to support product portfolio Excellent communication skillshas frequent contact with key opinion leaders and broad customer contact as well as interfaces with senior-level management from cross functional groups and geographies to facilitate product related decisions. Ability to translate product, clinical and scientific information into meaningful Consumer and Healthcare Professional messaging Strong team playerability to work as a key member of the US marketing team who is accountable to global strategic marketing leadership team as well as the product division and geographical marketing Strong leadership skillsability to function as the marketing lead on product, marketing, commercial and pipeline development Project management skillsability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate level, functional and geographic functions together to support initiatives. Product and Clinical Competencies Advanced clinical competency with the ability to interpret, synthesize, and accurately translate clinical evidence, product performance data, and scientific literature into clear, compelling, and compliant marketing messages that resonate with both clinical and nonclinical audiences. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree with at least 3-5 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience. HCP/Clinical marketing experience required Preferred Qualifications Product management experience in medical products or services preferred. Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.
