Summary: In this role, you will perform complex analytical functions supporting a large healthcare system across multiple operational and financial areas. You will conduct detailed financial analyses, including pricing, rebates, and administrative fees, to identify savings opportunities and cost efficiencies. You will analyze complex datasets, develop solutions to intricate data requests, manage projects, and adapt to evolving priorities. You will collaborate with department management, team members, and internal clients to interpret reports and deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. Responsibilities: Serve as lead for analytics projects, including creating datasets and coordinating ad-hoc analyses to address inquiries and resolve anomalies. Analyze purchase order line-item data to determine product usage and cost through data mining, cross-referencing, pricing application, and incorporation of contract details, benchmarking, and clinical considerations. Communicate savings and cost reduction initiatives to Spend Manager and Spend Executive through spreadsheets, presentations, meeting participation, and individual discussions. Interpret report results based on market trends and product knowledge. Consult with Spend Manager and Spend Executive to gather requirements for new requests and determine appropriate analytical solutions. Identify trends and performance metrics using established benchmarks or develop customized benchmarking methodologies. Design and create charts, graphs, tables, and reports to support findings and develop recommendations. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. 5 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience leading complex analytical projects and supporting client-facing initiatives preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and presentation skills preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Willingness to travel. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
