Job purpose: As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you will work directly with the wealth management team to create comprehensive wealth plans that include a coordinated financial strategy that aligns with each clients goals and values.Our focus is to partner with clients to create a strategy for today and beyond. A successful associate wealth advisor will be a thoughtful listener, have a strong team mentality and be driven to grow professionally and personally. Duties and responsibilities: Work with your wealth advisor team to provide comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth clients Prepare thoughtful, customized comprehensive financial plans and portfolios by conducting research and analysis of potential client solutions Effectively work with your team and available resources in support of our clients; executing client requests, updating information, follow up on open items Critical in supporting, retaining and building meaningful client relationships Participate in the sales process in partnership with team to build new client relationships Actively develop skills in various software programs for investment and financial planning Work Experience: 2+ years of prior experience working in a financial planning, accounting, law firm, or other organization that provided relevant experience Education/Licensing: Bachelors degree (degrees in finance or related field are a plus) CFP designation or Series 65 required withing 180 days Skills & Knowledge Understanding of wealth management including fee-based consulting, mutual funds, money manager programs, insurance and financial planning Previous experience with high net worth or ultra-high net worth clients/families is preferred Experience utilizing financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro, Right Capital etc) Highly effective interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills in a high-energy environment to manage multiple priorities Featured Benefits: $75,000 salary plus commission Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, 401(k) plus match, Company Paid STD, Life Insurance, & parental leave Department Sales Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience Required Travel: Up to 25% Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) HUB International Limited is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran's status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal laws, rules or regulations.
