We are proud of our mission, our lasting community impact, and the cultural and individual diversity of our staff. Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for an Associate Clinic Director. The Associate Clinic Director will work under the direction of the Clinic Director, support the day-to-day administration and coordination of the clinic and/or specified department(s) within the clinic. This includes acting as covering Director on site and off, in his/her absence, including rotating Saturday clinics when needed. Provide support in ensuring that clinic is opened and closed on time daily. Ensures that all regulatory standard are met or exceeded and adhered to on an ongoing basis (Joint Commission, CLIA, DHS- licensing & certification, OSHA, etc.). Assures that growth, finance and customer service targets are met. Responsibilities: Supports Clinic Director, as assigned, in developing and maintaining community linkages and key community relationships to enhance the sites ability to serve the local area. * Looks for opportunities to connect local community to all appropriate FHCSD programmatic areas, and collaborates with Patient Engagement staff in this effort. Supports the Clinic Director, as assigned, in ensuring site is compliant with applicable regulatory and organizational standards. (The Joint Commission, Licensing, VFC, OSHA, PCMH, FHCSD policies and procedures, etc.). As assigned, ensures staff complete all required training in a timely manner. Supports the Clinic Director, as assigned, in ensuring site is managed in a fiscally responsible manner. Implements annual contracts, grants, and grant requirements as directed and in collaboration with other FHCSD departments and clinics as applicable. Supports the Clinic Director, as assigned, in ensuring site is well maintained and is compliant with FHCSDs facilities policies. Supports the Clinic Director, as assigned, in leading the site in providing quality care to patients. Works well with Medical, Nursing, and Program Leadership in the effective implementation and coordination of services and quality of care standards, policies, and procedures. Effectively and accurately interprets the role of health center services for patients, personnel, medical staff, volunteers, and the community at large. Builds positive relationships, inspires others to perform at a higher level, prepares career development plans and retains an accountable workforce. Coaches and counsels staff and administers appropriate disciplinary action in a timely manner. Participates in continuous improvement activities and ensures appropriate Lean tools (i.e., 5S, A3) are deployed and results are evaluated and/or measured. Provides/ensures staff receive all new hire and annual trainings on time. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: BA/BS in a related field or RN required. At least 3 years managerial experience in the health care field or, a Master's Degree and at least 1 year experience as a manager in the health care field. At least 3 years' experience demonstrating progressively responsible positions in health care services required with preference for ambulatory medical clinics. Possesses analytical skills, critical thinking skills, advanced computer skills, and good oral and written communication skills. Traveling between sites and other locations is required as an essential function of the job. Must have a car, a valid California drivers license, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California drivers license within ten days of establishing residency. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits. 68,640.00 - 81,639.99 If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
