The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork, knowledge of X-rays and dental X-rays, proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member. Requirements: Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT licence must be current) 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience (required) Strong anesthesia monitoring experience Experience with dental X-rays Highly skilled at teaching, training, and mentoring vet tech knowledge and skills with staff Experience with inventory for surgeries and back-of-the-house medications, and supplies Understands surgery scheduling and helps to control each surgery's flow to stay on track Full-time hours (required) Saturday & Sunday shifts (required) Qualifications Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
