Registered Dietitian (RD) / Nutrition Support Specialist - NICU - Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital - Part Time - Day Shift This position will focus on providing nutrition care for our NICU patients, specializing in our cardiac infant unit. This is a unique opportunity to care for an acute subspecialty patient population. Responsibilities include: Recommending parenteral and enteral nutrition regimens for optimal patient care Recommending nutrition interventions for all other assigned patients Precepting dietetic interns and education of staff Participating in projects and research Strong interdisciplinary collaboration This is a part time, Monday-Friday, day shift position. Preferred Criteria Experience in clinical pediatric nutrition Experience with NICU/pediatric nutrition support (parenteral & enteral nutrition) Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support, Pediatric Nutrition, or Pediatric Critical Care (CNSC, CSP, CSP-CC) Masters in nutrition, dietetics or related field Required Criteria Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent and completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) NYS Certification as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (CDN) Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
