Brown & Brown is seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our growing team in Honolulu, HI! The Account Manager supports and assists the team in providing service for customer accounts and transactions, directly in support of the production and retention of business. How You Will Contribute: Proficient with Agency Management System. Understand main coverage lines and products. Manage/support correspondence (unrouted mail, email, and phone correspondence) with internal/external individuals (limited to administrative/non-sales related correspondence until licensed, and at the direction of the Account Manager or the Account Executive). Issue auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, etc. at direction of Account Manager (with working knowledge of contract requirements and corresponding insurance forms and coverages). Billing: Transact invoices. Premium Finance Obtain quotes for AM/AE to present to client and process final PFA when completed. Change Requests/Endorsements Check accuracy of endorsements, related transactions and transmittal to Insured. Policies Detail policy in system, inform AM/AE as needed of discrepancies, transmit to Insured. Audits Timely processing and transmittal to Insured. Claims Issue loss notice, report incident to carrier and communicate claim and adjuster information to appropriate parties as needed. Order underwriting documents (loss runs, EMR worksheets, MVRs, etc.). Obtain policy documents and information from carrier/program portals (policies, endorsements, payment details, etc.). Document Agency Management System in accordance with company guidelines. Licenses and Certifications: Valid Hawaii Insurance Producer License Property & Casualty (if any duties involve selling, soliciting, and/or communications/negotiations regarding coverages) to be obtained within designated time frame as agreed Skills & Experience to Be Successful: High school diploma or equivalent College degree or equivalent work experience (Preferred) 2+ years professional office/insurance experience (Preferred) Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional communication (written & verbal) with internal and external individuals Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct Ability to maintain professional office etiquette and appearance Pay Range $24.04 - $24.04 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
