Job Title: Senior, Corporate Accounting (Consolidation) Company: Prologis Senior, Corporate Accounting (Consolidation) Denver, CO A day in the life Part of a large global accounting department, our Global Consolidation team oversees the preparation, analysis and reporting of the US GAAP Prologis LP financial statements. As our Senior, you will be responsible for recording, reconciling, and reporting intercompany. You should possess a deep understanding of US GAAP and its application, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex financial areas, and be adaptable. Key Responsibilities: Record and reconcile intercompany activity and recharges (A/P and A/R) between Prologis entities. Monitor, calculate, and record intercompany loan principal and interest activity, including debt traced to development projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supporting agreements. Record and reconcile capital contributions and distributions between entities and third-party investors. Review intercompany elimination entries across balance sheet and income statement accounts, including receivable/payable, revenue/expense, investment, and equity sets. Identify and investigate out-of-balance conditions across intercompany relationships; drive timely resolution with business partners. Execute and support system-based allocation, matching, and elimination processes within Oracle/Peoplesoft platforms; validate completeness and accuracy of system outputs. Maintain and enhance documentation of intercompany processes, controls, and policies to support SOX compliance and audit requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to increase automation, transparency, and scalability within intercompany workflows. Partner with regional accounting teams, treasury, tax, and Financial Accounting Systems Team to ensure proper classification, settlement, and reporting of intercompany activity. Serve as a subject matter resource for intercompany accounting and related system data in support of management reporting and inquiries. Support special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc reporting requests related to intercompany accounting. Required Qualifications: Accounting bachelor's degree, 3+ years relevant experience Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and accounting principle Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and desire to continue to grow technology expertise Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills in routine and complex tasks Able to evaluate current processes and make recommended process enhancements or improvements Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, across all levels of the organization. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely financial data. Able to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment at one time Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Deliver exceptional customer service across organization timely and consistently. Strong IT and financial systems aptitude. Hiring Salary Range of: $85,000 - $116,000.
