Job Description: Winchester Hospital, a proud member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an Urgent Care Tech opening on our Urgent Care team. Our Woburn location provides urgent care to all patient populations with a variety of medical conditions. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the Hospitals mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patients experience by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience Required: Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience Preferred: · High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred · Emergency patient care experience · EKG experience · Phlebotomy experience Other Skills/Knowledge: Preferred: · Basic computer skills · Crisis Prevention/Intervention LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred: Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist certification Pay Range: $19.50 - $26.24 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
