Huhtamaki, a leading supplier of drinking cups, frozen dessert, and food packaging containers, has an immediate openings for in our Production Departments for General Laborers in the Fulton, New York facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the production process by maintaining and operating machinery and equipment (do not operate machines). Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe for all employees. Monitor production lines and report any malfunctions or irregularities to the supervisor. Support quality control by checking products for defects and reporting issues. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and materials. To continuously stand and walk at and around production equipment; frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting cases of finished product up to 50 lbs. frequently; have good eye/hand coordination; ability to recognize colors; able to work in ambient temperatures inside the building. Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Performing cleaning, sweeping, packing, palletizing, painting, and other duties as assigned.
