This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis. You will be required to come into the office on a Hybrid schedule, according to the department's current schedule. Internal Compensation Grade: F5 Reporting to the AVP of Advanced Analytics Governance, this position will support the safe, compliant and effective delivery of analytics products, including machine learning and GenAI solutions across the enterprise. This role helps operationalize enterprise risk management and governance frameworks, model life cycle standards, and responsible AI practices. This position partners closely with business partners, Risk, Technology and Legal teams to ensure analytics solutions meet regulatory expectations, organizational policies, and business needs. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical content while maintaining a challenge mindset. The ideal candidate understands model development, evaluation techniques, and core GenAI concepts. This position plays a key role in building organizational trust in AI by ensuring transparency, fairness, consistency, and responsible governanceenabling the enterprise to innovate confidently and safely with advanced analytics and AI technologies. They participate in all phases of the analytic lifecycle, from research design, data collection and data processing to model building, deployment and presentation of results. As an Analytic Solutions Advisor, youll be responsible for working with Nationwide business leaders and data scientists to design and implement advanced analytics solutions that deliver deep insights, and translate into high business value to our organization. To succeed, youll need to use your business knowledge and a solid understanding of advance analytics (e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.) to prioritize business problems and convey goals to data science professionals. Youll have the opportunity to work with various technologies from big data, relational and SQL databases, unstructured data technology and programming languages such as SQL and Python. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Participates in identifying and delivering advanced analytics solutions. Analyzes business results and trends and patterns in structured and unstructured data to evaluate or define opportunities. Develops/supports communication of insights and recommendations to partners and partners. May lead small projects. Builds, packages and communicates analytics work (synthesis) using appropriate medium for relevant insights and applicable data visualizations. Uses statistical techniques to determine patterns and predict future business outcomes and trends. Synthesizes project work. Plans and manages execution of work, participates in planning, and delivers on commitments. May participate in the development of scope, risk/control matrix, project timelines, and assignments. Participates in the delivery of analytics work that supports business objectives and priorities. Participates in the design of analytics solutions aligned to business needs using statistical, database and/or general programming languages and tools. Builds and manages relationships and serve as a trusted business advisor to clients, partners in Enterprise Analytics Office, Nationwide Technology, Advanced Analytics Hubs, and other partners. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of department processes through ongoing initiatives. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Relationships: Reports to Consultant, Senior Consultant or Director Typical Skills and Experiences: Education: Undergraduate studies in statistics, actuarial science, engineering or related quantitative field, business science or business administration. License/Certification/Designation: Certifications are not required but encouraged. Experience: Typically, less than three years of related work experience. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Advanced analytics application and practices knowledge. Good problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in project management, understanding of data and analytic-centric projects, ability to work on cross-functional teams, project execution Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
