Job Description: The Commerce & Retail Media team at Dentsu leads strategy, activation and optimizations for a large buy-side Retail Media client. We are looking for a detail-oriented, retail mediasavvy professional to join our team supporting a large CPG client with a primary focus on Kroger and Albertsons retail media networks. As a Senior Associate, you will demonstrate the ability to strategize, plan, optimize and report client marketing campaigns across Kroger, Albertsons, and other retail media networks. You will be primarily Digital/Display focused. You will be responsible for media planning, working directly with clients and vendors, reporting, and ensuring the success of multi-channel campaign initiatives. Your responsibilities will include delivering reports, insights, and strategic projects, all while supporting the team in execution and staying within budget. You will report to the Associate Director, Commerce & Retail Media, and will help manage an associate on the team. You Will: Media Planning & Strategy Develop display and digital media plans across Kroger and Albertsons retail networks, aligning with client objectives and brand priorities. Translate client goals into effective media strategies that drive awareness, trial, and sales lift. Partner with retailer media representatives to evaluate new opportunities and pilot programs. Campaign Management & Execution Oversee end-to-end campaign setup, trafficking, and execution within retail media platforms. Manage creative specifications, timelines, and delivery to ensure campaigns launch on time and accurately. Serve as day-to-day contact for campaign execution questions and troubleshooting. Optimization & Reporting Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance, making in-flight optimizations to improve ROI. Analyze results and provide actionable insights in client-facing reports and presentations. Identify test-and-learn opportunities to improve efficiency and performance over time. Collaboration & Communication Partner with interna and external teams (client service, analytics, creative) to align campaign execution with larger brand strategies. Maintain strong working relationships with retailer media networks and vendor partners. Communicate performance results and strategic recommendations clearly to clients and senior stakeholders. Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in digital media planning/buying, with direct experience in retail media networks preferred. Hands-on experience with Kroger Precision Marketing and/or Albertsons Media Collective strongly preferred. Background in CPG brands, especially working with large clients. Strong excel skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis Well-honed communication skills and working in the rapidly evolving world of Commerce & Retail Media The annual salary range for this position is $51,000 -$83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
