Primary Location: OFFICE OF VC - FACILIT PLAN, CONSTRUC & MGMT Bargaining Unit: No CUNY FPCMs Facilities Information Systems seeks interns to help maintain the data in and develop additional functionality for Archibus, our Integrated Work Management System. Archibus is an enterprise platform that integrates CMMS features with geospatial information (GIS) and a relational facilities database (CAD / BIM). This system manages corrective and preventative maintenance work requests for nearly 30 million sq feet of CUNY spaces across 26 campuses. Duties and Responsibilities: Archibus system administration duties such as redirecting work requests, creating & migrating user accounts Updating Archibus space occupancy data Developing & implementing custom reports and integrations with other systems Frontend and backend software development duties, including but not limited to wireframing, prototyping, debugging, documenting, and upgrading existing web applications Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Core Competencies Our ideal candidate has essential data entry and data analysis skills, has familiarity with spreadsheets, and has familiarity with relational databases. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in facilities management, architecture, or IT. Must be available at least 14 hours a week. Minimum Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a CUNY school Beginner or Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Structured Query Language (SQL) Comfort working with time-series datasets Familiarity with agile software development methodologies Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Proficiency with source control (Git) Familiarity with the .NET runtime and any of its languages (C#/F#/VB.NET/etc.) Core Competencies Excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and changing needs and priorities Detail-oriented, well-organized, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently Pay Range: $17.50 per hour RFCUNY Benefits RFCUNY Employee Benefits and Accruals Equal Employment Opportunity Statement The Research Foundation of the City University of New York is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Americans with Disabilities Act/E-Verify Employer. These functions include legal assessment and signing of agreements where RFCUNY is named as a fiscal agent; setting up award accounts; preparing sub-awards and assisting PIs in monitoring the work of the recipients of sub-awards; supporting project directors with hiring and managing research project and sponsored program staff; supporting the purchasing and paying for goods and services with grant and program funds; managing financial aspects of projects including accounts receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, budget monitoring, and cost compliance with uniform guidance; ensuring that sponsor financial requirements are met; monitoring compliance with applicable project and financial management rules and laws; supporting the management of independent and external audits and financial reviews; and providing data, information, management expertise, and other supports to CUNYs research and sponsored programs.
