Full Job Description

Entry Level $25.50 Rotating 12hr shift schedule. Benefits Day One: Medical, Free Dental, 401K Match plus a Pension and More! All Truck Drivers at American Crystal Sugar Co. load and unload trucks. They are responsible to drive to designated areas for the factory. Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for checking all truck fluid levels and making sure the truck lamps are clean and in working order. The Truck Driver is responsible to make sure the truck is safe for highway traffic. Maintain the truck and truck loading and unloading area in a clean and satisfactory manner. Operates and performs routine maintenance checks for assigned mobile equipment. May operate gasoline; liquefied gas or electric powered industrial forklifts and factory pickup trucks. Must fulfill all safety requirements and training for this equipment. May perform routine preventative maintenance and record keeping for mobile equipment which includes the following. Job Requirements: High School diploma or a GED certificate is required. [A Class "D" driver's license is required at the Hillsboro, ND factory.] Must pass a Safety Screen that evaluates their ability to safely execute duties and tasks of this position. Must be able to work with and communicate well with others. Must be able to reference, read and understand how to use MSDS information. Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Must be able to climb from ladders or man lifts and transport up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to communicate effectively, read and understand instructions, street signs, roadmaps, and general instructions to locate various locations as directed.
