Your work will help build awareness, reinforce preventive behaviors, and elevate the level of protection that enables our teams to do their best work confidently and safely every day. #LI-Onsite Location: Indianapolis, IN Relocation Support: Yes Job Description Key Responsibilities: Promote and embed Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and work instructions across the manufacturing site. Conduct routine inspections and walkthroughs to identify hazards and improvement opportunities. Assess training needs, develop materials, and deliver engaging Health, Safety, and Environmental training sessions. Collect and analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data to identify trends and recommend improvement actions. Support implementation and tracking of Health, Safety, and Environmental action plans using internal systems. Assist with waste management, contractor oversight, and environmental compliance activities. Partner with the Radiation Safety Officer on surveys, sampling, emergency response, and radiation safety tasks. The salary for this position is expected to range between $55,020 and $102,180 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves. Essential Requirements: Bachelors degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Ability to deliver effective training and communicate technical concepts clearly. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed. Ability to prioritize tasks, respond to changing needs, and remain effective under pressure. Desirable Requirements: Previous GMP experience. Previous Radiation Safety experience.
