The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on ASRS Dematic Multi-shuttle and Conveyor. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Plainville, CT facility. This position will start on the day shift from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and will eventually turn into a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please note this is a refrigerated and Freezer facility. The permanent shift will be rotating 4-3- 3-4. Overtime and weekend work may be required. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $30.00 to $35.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry. Build and close work orders in the asset management system with appropriate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify resources needed to resolve them. Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory. Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications. Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. What We Are Looking For High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An associate's degree or vocational technical training is helpful. Niche skill training/certification is a plus. 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred. Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key responsibilities. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation. Job conditions can involve tight spaces, dust, odors, temperature variations, noise, vibration, standing on concrete, and wet surfaces. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours. Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
