Job Description Job Description Job Title: Powder Coat Machine Operator Location: Fife, WA Company: Milgard Windows & Doors Schedule: MondayThursday, 2:00pm - 12:30am Pay Rate: $22$28/hour (DOE) Job Summary The Powder Coat Machine Operator is responsible for operating powder coating equipment to apply finishes to pultruded fiberglass/composite products. This role ensures proper application, curing, and overall quality while meeting safety, production, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust powder coating machines and spray systems Load, unload, and properly position pultruded parts on racks or conveyors Apply powder coatings according to work instructions and specifications Monitor and control curing ovens, temperatures, and line speeds Inspect coated products for coverage, thickness, color consistency, and defects Perform routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and basic machine maintenance Accurately document production and quality data as required Adhere to all safety procedures, including PPE and material handling guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or powder coating experience preferred Ability to read work orders and follow standard operating procedures Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot, industrial environment What We Offer Our benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
