What a Typical Day Looks Like: The Master Healer: Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain our heavy-duty diesel trucks, CNG equipment, gas vehicles, and rolling stock. Tech-Savvy Tweaking: Utilize modern diagnostic software alongside classic hand and power tools to pinpoint and solve operational difficulties. The Planner: Use the M5 planning system to schedule repairs, track work orders, and procure the exact parts you need for a flawless fix. Safety Champion: Maintain a spotless work area and ensure all equipment strictly complies with federal, state, and company safety regulations. What You Bring to the Team: The Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic. (Experience with diagnostic software is a massive plus!) The Credentials: High school diploma or GED; a technical diploma is highly desired. The Arsenal: You possess, provide, and maintain your own set of tools necessary for heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance. The Brains & Brawn: Computer literate, eager to learn new software, and physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 100 lbs when the job demands it. The Vibe: A strong communicator who works well independently, follows detailed instructions, and maintains an excellent safety track record. Working Conditions: Our shop is where the magic happensits loud, active, and fast-paced. Youll be exposed to varying weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and standard shop environments.
