Primary Job Functions: Below is a general description of the essential functions of this job. This is not an exhaustive list and employees in these classifications frequently may be required to perform additional duties. Not all classifications will be required to perform all job functions. The employee is responsible for the quality assurance requirements of each task performed. Disassembles and assembles fittings on tank cars. Tests tank car, fittings, and valves to reveal possible defects. Rebuilds tank car fittings, valves and tests them using specified methods. Identifies leaks in coils for repair using specified procedures. Conducts single car brake test when required. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner and reports potential hazards. Working Conditions: Moderate to heavy lifting. Climbing, ascending, or descending ladders. Lifting and carrying of tools and equipment up to 60-65 lbs. Why Join Our Team?
