Job Description Peterson Trucks has a need for Casual Help at our Santa Rosa, CA location. This is a limited duration job not expecting to last more than six months. SUMMARY The Casual Help will perform warehouse duties and will drive a passenger truck to deliver and sell products or render services and collects money from customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Remove parts and components from shipping containers and place them in the proper location. Remove parts from storage to fill customer orders, parts counter requests, and service department requests. Process parts returns and restock in proper location. Perform inventory counts as directed. Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to trucks, storage, or work areas. Drives Company truck in safe manner to deliver parts to customer's place of business. Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt. Writes customer orders to include customers instructions. Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record. Prepares order forms and sales contracts. Listens to and relays service complaints to supervisor. Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Loads truck with parts to be delivered up to 50lbs. Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of driving experience and three to six months of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The hourly pay range for this job CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving record. The pay hourly pay range for this position is: $22.08 -$25.00.
