Job Summary The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for developing software solutions by writing, maintaining and enhancing critical healthcare systems that are required for everyday functioning of our hospitals and clinics. This role also plays a critical part in the execution of CHOCs cloud strategy. This role is a remote role. **The following qualifications are considered highly desirable:** - Expertise in one or more RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism). - Proven ability to lead and deliver complex automation projects from end to end. - Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and design solutions to streamline workflows (problem-solving). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, C#, Java, JavaScript) to automate repetitive tasks. - Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and working with various enterprise systems. Pay Range Minimum $110,094 Midpoint $145,870 Maximum $181,626 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience Required: Minimum five (5) years of professional experience developing software applications. Experience implementing data integration and API services Demonstrated understanding of software design principles, coding and algorithms. Ability to design applications at scale. Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence. Preferred: Information Systems experience within the healthcare field or Cloud native application development. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or additional equivalent work experience in a healthcare environment may be accepted in lieu of education. Training Required: N/A Specialized Skills Required: Strong programming skills with any programming language (Python,Java,.NET, Scripting, Javascript). understanding of SDLC, databases and their usage. Understanding of CI/CD,DevOps and Cloud services Preferred: Familiarity with IT Service Management within a healthcare organization. Developing Low-No Code Solutions on the Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint). Licensure Required: N/A Preferred: Any Associate level AWS Certification.
