Job Title: Production Operator Reporting To: Manager, Production Work Schedule: Onsite Blacksburg, VA To be considered for a Production Operator role, heres what youll need to bring with you: HS diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training. Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity As a Production Operator, you will: Paints machined, molded and assembled parts for corrosion resistance and to seal in magnetic particles. Mixes paint materials, checks and starts system, sets up parts and adjusts paint guns for proper thickness. Paints parts per blueprint, checks parts for finish and thickness. Shuts down system and cleans up. Cleans system, paint booth and work area weekly. Removes water and paint sludge from storage tank and refills monthly.
