Job Summary Responsible for assisting a team with installing, programming, and commissioning fire alarm and special hazards systems in compliance with national and local codes around Colorado and Wyoming. A JCIbranded company vehicle is provided for all company activities. Responsibilities Install suppression systems for environments where conventional fire protection is inadequate such as computer rooms, fuel storage, rare document collections, or manufacturing equipment. Perform basic installation of raceways, wiring, piping, or operate components during inspection/testing. Identify simple design elements from engineering plans Maintain and track inventory. Install clean agent, dry agent, or foam suppression systems. Integrating detection and suppression components Ensuring correct spacing, layout, and wiring/piping per design. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid drivers license. Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces, including ladder use. Strong customer service and communication skills. Skilled in using hand and power tools, digital multimeters, aerial lift trucks, and diagnostic equipment Excellent organizational skills. Have a NICET I FAS/SPH or obtain within the first 8 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience in fire alarm and/or special hazards suppression systems. NICET I in Fire Alarm NICET I in Special Hazards Knowledge of NFPA standards and handling of dangerous goods ASCRII Sprinkler License DENFACSA License HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.38 - $34.90 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
