The Health Promotion Coordinator in the Office of Owls Care Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based, peer-led health promotion programs and services. Summary of responsibilities: Program Development: Design new, innovative, and peer-led health promotion programs using qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to ensure effectiveness and relevance. Health Communication Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted health communication strategies to increase awareness and engagement on key health topics. Workshops and Presentations: Create and facilitate engaging workshops, presentations, and seminars for students on various health and student development topics. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct ongoing program evaluations to assess the impact and effectiveness of health promotion and peer education activities. Create a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and growth by fostering an environment of open communication, student empowerment, and leadership development. Assist in scheduling student development and health education workshops, training, and other developmental opportunities to ensure that the goals of the Owls Care Health Promotion Office are met.
