General Summary: This position will assist CONHS in the coordination and organization of operations with regards to recruitment, retention, and marketing of the health career fields. This position will also assists in daily operations to ensure the college is ran efficiently and effectively with priorities in meeting the needs of both current and prospective students, current and prospective faculty, college stakeholders to include donors, alumni, and clinical partners. Responsibilities: Writes content for social media, flyers, brochures, news releases, and newsletters. Assists in capturing and editing photo and video content for use in social media, web, and promotional materials. Assists with press briefings, media interviews, advertising, promotional activities, and events for the department including recruitment and retention efforts, community health fair events, and special fundraising or awareness events for the department of nursing. Monitors key social media activities and participates proactively in dialog benefitting the assigned TAMUS member. Assist CONHS faculty in programs within the department of nursing by performing various duties and responsibilities including answering phones, taking messages, scheduling appointments, and arranging course and clinical components and providing tours of our facility to interested parties. Assisting faculty in scheduling, preparing, and dismantling simulation and skill activities for clinical, clinical partners and demonstration activities. Contributes to college by active participation related to CONHS and LAR planning and development initiatives. Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University and job-specific online training courses.
