JOB DESCRIPTION: MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Works closely with development/manufacturing/quality engineering to establish and ensure compliance and quality reliability. Ensure quality of products conform to established standards and agency regulations. Main Responsibilities: Perform reliability engineering and statistical analysis. Proactive in finding quality improvements related to Reliability Engineering Works cross functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing and Regulatory to establish measurable, valid product requirements. Work collaboratively with product development and design assurance. Aides in definition of test equipment as required to accomplish quality responsibilities. Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent years of education and experience Preferred Qualifications: US Citizenship preferred Previous experience in failure analysis and in the medical device industry is a plus Understanding schematics and how the components function in a circuit Good written and spoken English communication skills Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Access, Power Point Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits (analog and digital) Understanding the common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies Ability to design and build and assemble prototype circuits for test fixtures Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization. Supplies useful data for improving reliability, customer support and defending legal cases The base pay for this position is $73,900.00 $116,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
