Our sales internship is a hands-on introduction to a career in sales, the chance to explore the wine, spirits & beer industry and an opportunity to work directly with our amazing customers. Interns will learn alongside our sales team to develop their selling skills and knowledge of the industry. Interns will also have the opportunity to mentor under divisions specializing in both retail and on-premise accounts. Along with job development, the program is comprised of exciting social activities, weekly meetings and networking events with other interns, sales team members and senior management. Previous experience in sales roles, restaurants, acting as a leader in a student organization or having been a student athlete can make you a great candidate for this role. Job Description: Details: Internships will be full-time Compensation: $20/hour Located in Raleigh Responsibilities: Support in-store tastings Achieve sales objectives Build and maintain relationships Effectively manage your territory Actively sell current and new products Serve accounts on a regular schedule Merchandise shelves with strategic shelf placement Maintain cold boxes and build displays Stock inventories across accounts Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations Competencies and Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Business or related field Must have completed junior year before the start of the program 2026 graduation date (preferred) Must be at least 21-years-old Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug test Experience with Microsoft Office Software (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Independent worker Exceptional customer service skills Prior sales experience preferred Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record Must provide own transportation Worker Sub-Type: Intern Time Type: Full time Johnson Brothers is a single-family owned wine, beer, and spirits distributor, led by Michael and Todd Johnson.
