The Opportunity Abbott Nutrition is seeking a Senior Specialist Project Manager to support global ingredient qualification initiatives that help ensure access to high-quality ingredients across our product portfolio. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, partnering with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive efficient execution, mitigate risks, and support business objectives. What You'll Work On Lead global ingredient qualification projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones and timelines are achieved. Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams to support ingredient qualification activities. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource tracking, and performance metrics. Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and communicate proactively with leadership and key stakeholders. Partner with external suppliers to obtain quality, compliance, and technical documentation required for ingredient qualification. Utilize project management and business systems to execute projects and track progress. Drive alignment across global stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and timely decision-making. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Support a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the ingredient qualification process. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. 5+ years of related experience leading complex, global projects. Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Experience managing ingredient qualification activities, including pre-qualification, supplier assessment, ingredient assessment, finished product assessment, approval, and communication processes. Understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance-driven environments. Proven ability to influence and collaborate with global, cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience driving project outcomes without direct authority. Experience working directly with external suppliers and business partners. Strong integration and coordination skills across multiple functions and workstreams. Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Planview, Devex, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in the food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.
