Compensation 12 hour 2-2-3 night shift (6pm-6am) $27.00/hour with $1.20 shift differential for night shift WHAT YOU GET TO DO Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the BHPO facility Follows job procedures to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded. Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors /Management of Quality concerns/issues Maintains 6S procedures and ensures work environment is clean and clutter-free Follows all GMP, ISO, PPE, and Gowning procedure Checks material against spec and documents results to ensure correct material is staged. During Start-Up and Run the Operator will perform all testing required to guarantee highest quality. Perform set-up of machine per work instructions and procedures with the assistance of a Clean Room Specialist to ensure customer satisfaction. Performs set ups in a timely manner. Standard run and waste rates must be maintained Loads raw material onto machine Observes machine operation and works with a Clean Room Specialist to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Documents any changes Performs minor machine maintenance, submits requests for maintenance when needed Teach/train Clean Room Specialist how to set-up, run, document and make adjustments. Assist them on maintaining run when Clean Room Specialist is performing operator duties as part of their training Troubleshoots machine to ensure product is running within the customer specifications Performs packaging responsibilities as part of their normal job Coordinates and monitors the work of the Clean Room Specialist Correctly fills out all paperwork and completes IPPHs as needed which includes assisting in the recoveries and informing QA when needed to ensure timely products. Assists during set-ups of other machines to ensure all machines are set-up and running in a timely manner Performs necessary quality testing in accordance with testing guidelines Participate in and supports World Class Operations Management (WCOM) teams Assumes additional job related projects and tasks as they are assigned WHAT WE VALUE Passion for Safety and following Safety Procedures Passion for Quality and meeting Customer Specifications Must have a positive attitude that promotes the Bemis High Performance Culture Fully aligned with the Bemis Core Values Ethics, Accountability, Innovation, and RESPECT WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU Willing and able to work 12 hour overnight shifts Machine Operation Experience Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, & understanding of mechanical equipment Basic math, reading, computer, and measurement skills Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices Mid-level communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal Willing to support all areas of the Clean Room as needed/requested Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
