What We Offer Competitive pay: $13$14/hr Supportive, team-oriented environment Employee appreciation events and recognition Growth opportunities within our facility network Position Summary As a Laundry Aide, you will play a key role in ensuring residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding while helping maintain a comfortable, sanitary environment throughout the facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality service directly contribute to resident comfort and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Collect resident laundry and facility linens daily or as needed Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated areas Label resident clothing items as needed Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care Inspect linens and clothing for damage and remove items that are stained or no longer serviceable Follow all infection control, sanitation, and laundry procedures Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently Maintain laundry supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Excellent communication and teamwork skills Positive, reliable, and customer-service-focused attitude Join Greenville Post Acute and become part of a team that values your contributions and appreciates the important role you play in creating a comfortable and welcoming home for our residents.
