To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable student to join our team as a Travel Intern. This internship supports the Benefits team and the Leave of Absence team. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, remain organized, and have experience in a fast-paced work environment. The position reports to the Time and Leave Manager. Essential Duties: Assist team members with travel related questions Upload and review dependent documentation Assist with travel bookings and confirming availability Update travel webpage as needed Job Qualifications and Competencies: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program Basic skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week Ability to commute to Middletown, PA Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in an office environment Prior experience with travel reservation systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Work Environment: Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed Non-exempt Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting up to 25lbs The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required for this position.
