Summary: In this role, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Management team at Vizient. This team maintains a robust healthcare-industry product master, including classification, product attributes, and functional equivalent relationships. Hospital spend data is identified to the product master. The overall mission of EDM is to identify opportunities for members to realize significant supply cost reductions and operating efficiencies through a combination of contract maximization, standardization and utilization processes. Responsibilities: Responsible for the data integrity of the product master as well as ensuring master data is accurate and complete. Researching and validating data and ensuring the product master reflects current supplier information. Perform data quality audit processes, identify potential data issues, conduct research, and make the necessary changes to ensure the data is reflected correctly in consuming applications. Role will balance multiple priorities while achieving high productivity levels. The ideal candidate must possess an above-average and broad knowledge of medical-surgical products. Qualifications High School diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred. 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Clinical hosptial experience required; RN, LVN, CST or RT preferred. Previous hospital experience is highly preferred. Must be self-motivated and take accountability and ownership of work. Must be attentive to detail, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Must possess at least a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
