Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization. Job Responsibilities: Long term capacity and resource planning. Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools. Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling. Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution. Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review. Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team. Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution. Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs. Basic Qualifications Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist: A Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Masters degree with 6 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR a High School Diploma with 12 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment . MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Must have previous experience in Supply Chain SAP Experience Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Experience Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bills of Materials Experience in Master Schedule driven requirements Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
