What You'll Be Doing Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations What Are We Looking For Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery Strong focus on safety and compliance standards Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments Effective communication and teamwork skills Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
