Job Description Harborview Medical Center CLINICAL ENGINEERING has an outstanding opportunity for full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours a week), day shift, Biomedical Electronics Technician 1. WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week Day Shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 receives on-the-job training while performing entry-level biomedical equipment support functions, including troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, calibrating, and testing a variety of biomedical instruments, apparatus, systems, and equipment PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform entry-level Biomedical Electronics work, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, constructing and testing analog and/or digital electronic equipment or apparatus used in the patient care, and clinical areas of a healthcare facility. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness Respond promptly to customer needs Meet productivity standards set by the department Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.
