Waste Connections is seeking a full-time Laborer to join our team at the Purdy Transfer Station near Gig Harbor, Washington. This position supports our recycling and waste management operations by assisting customers, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring safe traffic flow. Schedule & Compensation Thursday through Monday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Overtime available as needed Starting pay: $20.00 $23.00/hour, based on experience Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with recycling and waste disposal questions Direct traffic to ensure safe and efficient flow within the facility Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the transfer station and recycling areas Support general site upkeep and safety protocols Qualifications Valid drivers license required Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in a customer service or labor-intensive role Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety This is a safety-sensitive position To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.careers.wasteconnections.com .
