Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, MO. Join our team as a Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting dynamic programs impacting national security within the Air Dominance division. Position Responsibilities: Conduct assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action Assist less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls Conduct Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Assist less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries Conduct Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities in compliance with government regulations/requirements Assist COMSEC custodians and less experienced personnel in COMSEC responsibilities Protect government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs Assist Personnel Security team and/or processes (works with databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submittals to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer requirements Conduct security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information Perform Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements Perform Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements Participate, as requested, in enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams Assist less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) 3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI 3+ years of experience working in a classified environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security Experience with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and 32 CFR, part 117 (NISPOM) Experience with Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Volumes 1-4 Experience with ICD 705 Construction Standards Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
