General Purpose The PTA works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, compassionate care. Youll help patients achieve their therapy goals, support nursing and rehab teams, and make a real difference every day. Essential Duties Treat patients according to the Physical Therapists plan of care Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports per policy and state standards Assist with patient evaluations, care conferences, and discharge planning Educate patients, families, and caregivers in exercise and mobility programs Maintain treatment areas and report equipment concerns promptly Support restorative training for nursing staff and participate in in-services Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, effective communication Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington State Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Proficient with therapy documentation software (Casamba, PointClickCare) Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehab settings preferred Why Colonial Vista?
