Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Primary Structures team in Everett, WA. The selected individual will provide contracting knowledge including, but not limited to, negotiating, and driving all aspects of contracting activities in support of BCA programs. Primary duties include managing internal and external relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, negotiating cost, terms & conditions, and adherence to affordability and financial goals and objectives. The individual will also maintain supplier contracts and statements of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Some travel may be required for this position (approximately 10% of domestic and/or international travel may be required). Our team is hiring a Mid-Level or Senior (Level 3 or 4) Procurement Agent. Position Responsibilities: Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement work experience and/or general Business Operations & Strategy 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience): Bachelor's Degree or higher or commensurate experience 6+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and performing complex contracts and subcontracts 6+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans 6+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts 6+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills 6+ years of experience developing and mentoring to, procurement process lifecycle 5+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
