Job Summary The Manager, Donor Services is responsible for leading and developing a team of Donor Services Representatives while ensuring exceptional donor experiences and supporting the organization's blood collection goals. This role provides operational oversight for donor center and mobile blood drive activities, drives revenue growth through effective fundraising and donor engagement strategies, and cultivates strong relationships within the community. The Manager will oversee staff performance, donor recruitment and retention efforts, community outreach initiatives, and mobile collection operations, while fostering a culture focused on customer service, teamwork, and the lifesaving mission of blood donation Essential Functions: -Manage and provide guidance to a team of donor services representatives, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. -Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to drive revenue growth. -Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional donor experiences throughout the giving process. -Set sales targets and KPIs for the donor services team, monitoring performance and implementing strategies to achieve or exceed fundraising goals. -Develop and implement strategies to enhance donor retention rates, including donor recognition programs, personalized communication, and tailored giving opportunities. -Ensure fundraising practices adhere to ethical standards, industry regulations, and organizational policies. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration required or bachelor's degree Related Field of Study required Experience: Business Development Experience 5-7 years require Fundraising Sales Experience 3-5 years required a Supervisory Experience 3-5 years required Experience working with organizations such as the American Red Cross, Rhode Island Blood Center, or similar blood collection organizations is highly valued Experience with donor management and recruitment software systems, specifically SoftDonor and SoftRecruit, is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to effectively utilize donor databases, recruitment platforms, reporting tools, and scheduling systems to support donor services operations Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of fundraising strategies, techniques, and best practices. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating successful teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with donors at all levels. - Results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targets. - Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising software.
