Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO, Long Beach, CA; or Seal Beach, CA. Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking a high-performing fullstack programmeranalyst to join the Maintenance Optimization System (MOS) product team within Engineering and Product Support. The successful candidate will contribute to the modernization, development, maintenance, and analytics of MOS. They must be comfortable working independently as a developer and able to operate effectively in a complex, multidisciplinary environment. Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document computing software applications providing value to our business partners Analyze, gather, and evaluate end user requirements Work with Product Specialists, System and Technical Architects, User Experience (UX) Designer and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs Provide technical support for Production issues Review system performance and identify and recommend improvements Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews for offshore and onshore development teams Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions Stay informed about security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to protect our software applications and data Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with software development experience with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools 3+ years of experience with developing user interfaces 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML 3+ years of experience in an agile work environment Experience with developing web applications Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with other UI frameworks, such as ReactJS Experience with Python scripting, automation, data processing, and building analytics pipelines Experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams to translate complex requirements into working software Ability to work off hours to support communication with team members located outside the US as well as provide on call support on weekends for Production Releases on a rotational basis Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
