Full Job Description

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Redfern Advanced Technical Assistants report to the Theatre Operations Manager. The assistants support the Redfern Events, including Rental Clients, the Music Department, and the Theatre and Dance Department. The assistants need to be very independent, and task orientated. They will be given tasks to perform and need to self-manage their time, they also need to adapt to the changing needs of the events. The assistants must be able to make decisions about the space, the equipment needed and if it is safe and feasible to perform a requested action They will be working directly with KSC Students both as supplemental instruction and as a supervisor. Duties/Responsibilities Complete needed technical setups of the performing spaces per events specifications. Set up of supplemental spaces as needed (i.e. extra dressing rooms, storage spaces for equipment, etc.). Supervise student crew including training on theatre equipment and its operation. Run the technical side of events in the Redfern Arts Center. Help Maintain the Redfern theatrical equipment. Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in technical theatre or related field.
