We are currently seeking an Injury Prevention Coordinator to support our client site in East Liberty, Ohio (OH). As the Coordinator you will develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, department placement and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment. This is done in collaboration with the Clients employee healthcare teams, Plant Safety as well as other Client employee health-related departments. Schedule: 40 hours/wk, M-F evening shift. Your Impact: Assists in the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives. Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training Interacts directly with client company associates, department leadership and safety leaders. Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management. Perform all placement duties of assigned departments. Evaluate and assign associates with restrictions for department placement. Provide the necessary follow-up and confirm appropriate placement activity. Provide complete and accurate documentation of associate care and placement. Complete appropriate documentation as approved through the Placement Policies and Procedures. Attend weekly TWA meeting and provides updates. Investigate all new restriction placement options. Provide complete and accurate documentation of all associate interactions into appropriate medical management systems/data collection systems. Develop, promote and market wellness and general education programs. Support healthy behaviors and promote client companys wellness initiatives. Other duties as needed/assigned. What we're looking for: Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field. Current Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands. Demonstrated skill in program development, implementation, marketing, and promotion. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $53k-$56k/yr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
