Job Description: Uchi West Hollywood is accepting applications for Sushi Chefs. In this role, you will serve as vital member of our team to enrich the culinary and service experience for our guests. **Employment Type:** Full-time **Location:** West Hollywood, CA. We offer gainful employment as well as great opportunities to grow with the organization long-term! We're offering $20.25/hr - $24.00/hr plus tips. Total estimated compensation including tips: $27 - $48 per hour. Tip amounts are estimates based on historical averages and may vary based on shift, day of week, and individual performance What you'll do in this role: Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine. Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our skilled Chef teams. Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for yourself and the guest Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grows Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu!
