Job Details: Checker Opr D-shift overnights (Edwardsville) SUMMARY: In this position pallets are removed from trailers using a forklift. Job tasks include break down and stack cases while receiving, verify correct product, date, and quantity. Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry 90 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching are involved in this job. This is a cooler/freezer warehouse the temperatures range from -10 degrees F. to 32 degrees; PPE will be provided. Shifts consist of 12 hours a day, 3 1/2 days a week. As Team Member grow with the company growth opportunities are assigned. Qualifications: (experience must be listed on application to be considered for this position) Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years. Cold storage experience preferred Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 110lbs cases. Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb. Must be willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed. Must be willing and able to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment with temperature range from -10° to 30°F. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Starting pay rate: $25.45/hr Currently hiring for: D shift: **Shift availability is determined by the business need at the time of offer** ($1.50 attendance incentive and shift premium of 0.50 cents) Wednesday; 12am midnight to 6am Thursday - Saturday; 6pm to 6am *This location is not considering prior Tyson Team members at this time.
