Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include operating equipment and providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee. What you will be doing: Set up machinery in the production process. Set dies accurately according to cell size. Setup strapping machinery Mount rolls onto the machine (Roll Rack) Manually catch bundles and palletize products manufactured by production. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of malfunctions. Lift raw materials, unfinished products, and pack items manually. Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. Mark or tag identification on parts. Load and unload items from the machines to conveyors and conveyances. Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding material or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment. Record information such as the number of products produced including writing dates and time. Wed love to hear from you if: Successful candidates must be capable of reading a ruler within 1/64 and be able to add, subtract, and multiply numbers including fractions. Must demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures. Able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to maintain good attendance and be reliable and dependable. Work in fast paced industrial environment. Having a mechanical background is a plus. Repeatedly lift to 35 lbs.
