Key Responsibilities Include: Providing respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, humidity therapy, and invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation Monitoring patient responses and collaborating with the care team to adjust treatment plans Performing diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gases and EKGs Responding to emergency situations, including Code Blue and Rapid Response calls Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment in compliance with infection control and safety standards Supporting patient and family education, including discharge planning and home respiratory care What You Bring Education Associates degree in Respiratory Care required Bachelors degree preferred Experience Open to all experience levels One or more years of clinical experience preferred Licensure and Certifications Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred Current CPR certification required Why Choose Baystate Health?
